Your website can know when Christmas starts — and when it ends

Give a season a look and a window. On the first morning your site takes on the colours and settles its motion; on the last night it puts itself back exactly as it was. Nobody has to be awake for either.

Available on: All plans

Christmas goes up in a hurry on the first of December and comes down in the second week of January, when somebody finally notices.

What changes for your business

  • A festive look that arrives and leaves on the dates you chose, with nothing to remember on the day.
  • Coming down is not a job — the season ends and the site is exactly as it was before it started.
  • The seasonal menu, notice or page you had already scheduled takes the same window from the content calendar.
  • A season can calm your site's motion. It can never switch motion on.

Key capabilities

A window, not a checklist

Set the day it starts and the day it ends. A season is a scheduled thing in the same calendar as everything else you publish, so it is planned in November and forgotten about.

Your theme, tinted

A season shifts the colours your site already uses. It does not replace your design with a Christmas template, and it keeps no copy of your theme — so the branding work you did last spring is still what people see underneath.

Rolls itself back

When the window closes the overlay simply stops applying. There is nothing to undo, because nothing was overwritten.

Motion that can only get calmer

A season may settle your animation down; the one thing it cannot do is turn motion on where you had it off. And a visitor who has asked their device for reduced motion gets it regardless of what any season says.

One season at a time

Two overlapping windows are a conflict, and the site tells you which one is in force rather than layering both and producing a colour nobody chose.

Preview before the day

See the site as it will look while the season is running, before anybody else does, and put it in front of a partner for a yes.

Who it's for

A restaurant that dreads the first of December

Build the festive look and the Christmas menu in November, give them the same window, and spend the first of December cooking.

A church through the liturgical year

Advent, Lent and Easter each get their window and their look, set once for the year rather than remembered four times.

An events business with a summer identity

A warmer palette for the festival months that stands itself down in September without anybody logging in.

Built to be trusted

A season is an overlay. Your design system, your content and your theme are untouched underneath it, which is what makes the rollback free rather than a restore.

Questions, answered

The colours your site renders with, and how lively its motion is. Your layout, your content and your theme are not modified — the overlay sits on top of them and is removed by the window ending.
