Launch your online store

Selling online shouldn't mean a second platform and a second bill. Origin Commerce turns your site into a store, with payment going straight to your own Stripe — so you keep the customer and the funds.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Connect your Stripe

Link your own Stripe account. Customers pay you directly, and card details never touch LimeOrigin, which keeps your PCI burden minimal.

  2. 2

    Add products

Create products with prices, images and stock. If a product comes in sizes or colours, add variants with their own price, stock and SKU.

  3. 3

    Set tax and shipping

Add your VAT rates and shipping options — by country, weight or spend, with free-over thresholds if you want them.

  4. 4

    Test and go live

Place a test order to check the flow end to end, then publish your store. Totals are recomputed on the server, so prices can't be tampered with.

Best practices

  • Use clear product photos and honest descriptions — returns fall when expectations match reality.
  • Set shipping rules before launch so checkout never surprises a customer.
  • Turn on verified-purchase reviews to build trust over time.

Common mistakes

  • Launching without a test order, then discovering a tax or shipping mistake live.
  • Forgetting to set stock, so you oversell items you don't have.
